Warlord Tournament!

~Lords and Ladies of the Duel of Swords:

Once more we prepare for the largest event of the DoS... the Warlord's Tournament!!!

The event has been scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, August 24th and 25th starting at 9:00pm in the Basement Annex.

As always, registration is required and early arrival on the date of the event is appreciated. Registration is open immediately and will close at midnight on August 21st. Registration will be limited to 32 participants on a first come, first serve basis. All other entries will be placed on a standby list pending final rank verification/attendance.

The format for this tournament will be double elimination. No final winner will be declared until all other contestans have lost twice. As usual, the victor will have his or her choice of prize.

Prizes stand at an intercession free match against the Overlord and either the 5th or the 11th Baron's rings.

To register, please send entries to RDI Scad stating your intent to participate. Entering warlords will receive written confirmation. To qualify, warlords must be listed as such on the standings for the weekend ending August 16th. The Rankings as listed in the Warlord's corner will be used for the initial pairings. In the event of a tie in the Warlord Rankings, random dice rolls will be used to make the final placements.

I'll have you all know that I'll be going undefeated in this tournament, just like the last one. And I'll also have you all know that I'll defeat Dalamar this time.

G'luck to all in the tourney!

Once again ::he sighs a bit:: I will be unable to participate in the tourney... But I do wish to tell whoever gains the 11th ring to treat it well. Me or Gnort should own that ring... In my eyes, you treat it wrong you recieve in front of you a list of peers and a challenge... this ain't a threat, more of a... friendly reminder. ;D
