What can I add to her words that would begin to convey the joy that now resides within my heart? Only that I praise the fortune that brought me to this land which now seems most enchanting to me. It is a brilliant land because the women in it are brilliant, combining brains with beauty beyond any precedent, and Queen Teleperien the most of all.
I humbly engrave here for all to plainly see, the overwhelming love I hold in my heart for Teleperien. My expression, my features, daily display the affection I hold for her. But dearest Tele, les votres dans mon coeur furent gravé bien mieux, mais ce fut par un plus grand maitre.*
