Patrons of DoS,
I submit to you m' letter of acceptance concerning the challenge made by LeDucBlanc to m'self AJay Bird. Merhaps a bit o' information which ye might make use of........
Warlord Percy,
Having received your challenge last week, the 10th, and having received Golden's verification letter this week, the 15th, it is now 5 days later, the 20th, which seems a timely date to reply.
Let me first begin by stating how much I am impressed with the way in which this challenge was been brought forth. Your letter of challenge was courteous, respectful and non-slanderous and received by m'self in the same manner. I am humbled by your kind words spoken of "Why you chose" the defender of the 2nd's ring to be your personal test. I can only hope that m' blade doesn't dissappoint you in our upcoming contest.
Good Luck Warlord LeDuc....... I look forward to meeting thee in the Basement Annex on the 29th day of September, at half past the hour of 9pm, (East Coast Time) with the honorable Spikushell as m' second, m' beautiful wife, Lady Sher as m' Lady O' Honour, to defend once again m' right to continue being the bearer o' the 2nd ring. May our blades meet with Skill and Honor!!
sincerely,
AJay Bird
Defender of the 2nd Ring
Loyal Baron to Dalamar

Baron Bird,
Thank you very kindly for the kindness, honour, and sportsmanship of your own acceptance. I hope that you will enjoy our dance as much as I intend to do so, no matter the outcome.
Patrons of the DoS,
For the general knowledge of those whom it may concern, I will now share the particulars of my challenge. I will duel under my the family banner of the Marchands, the Sleeping Lion of Clermont, a sable lion couchant upon field azure. I shall be clad in the sable and azure of my family, and I shall duel with, in my right hand, a silver dagger that was a gift to me from the noble Baron Kalamere Ar' Din which I have named "Scalpel" and, in my left
hand, a nameless main gauche that has been in my family for centuries.
My second will be the lovely lady and noble Warlord Jola Fici. My Lady of Honour will be the radiant Lady Sarana. I merely hope that all of you enjoy this challenge as much as I intend to do, whether you are there to root for Ajay or myself, and regardless of the outcome.

Gentlemen,
Good luck to both of you and let me say well done in both the issuing of the challenge and the acceptance. What a breath of fresh air to read such honorable statements from both the challenger and the challenged. This is how it should be done by god. I hope the rest of the DoS community pays notice.
Sincerely,
Valmion

The absence of courtly self possesion is underscored all the more remarkably by its attendence.
Tis no matter atall who walks off the field wearing a ring,...you both exemplify the reasons behind the tradition and honor by example.
