Sartan stepped into the Arena late in the evening, having been victorious in his challenge to Baron Avery earlier that night. He'd thought long and hard about what sort of banner he wished to have and had finally come to a conclusion.

Reaching out, Sartan tacked the simple flag of black and grey onto the wall. He knew that most wouldn't realize the significance of the grey, but he didn't care. -He- would always know what, or more specifically who, it represented, and he would most certainly never forget the flag's deeper meaning.

Turning to leave, Sartan paused. Reaching into a pocket, he turned back to his banner and enscribed the word "Loyalty" in crimson upon its center. Nodding in satisfaction at his work, Sartan headed home, in desperate need of rest after the long evening.

The commoner wandered down the steps in the early morning. The serving kids were still rubbing sleep from their eyes. She paused, glancing to the banner, a smile quirking at her lips, "Och, now th' one dost seem ta' 'onor th' traditions, neh, Hubie?" Hubie grinned impishly as he dashed out the door. She quirked a brow. Al snickered. Marcus piped up, "Hubie has a day job!!!" Al swatted the youngster. Marcus howled. Al smirked,
"Marcus, it's you're turn to dust the shields and banners." Marcus kicked Al in the shins. She vanished, leaving Edmond to settle the lads.
