Fellow Patrons of the Duel of Swords,
With this letter, I formally accept the challenge issued by Warlord Huma Dragonbane for the title of Overlord. The match shall take place on Wednesday, October 14th at 9 in the evening by the eastern clock. The duel will be held on the Battlefield, and as of yet, I have not had the time to secure an official for the event. I shall do so with the utmost haste, and then inform you of the selection.
As always, I shall be dueling under the silver and black of the Oldest House, and I shall be dueling with Vengeance. My second for this event will be Baron Sartan, and my Lady of Honor will be the beautiful Lady Sidartha Elgarette.

((I personally think it's absolutely digusting that we have to put notice on our messages to indicate when they aren't posts. So, from now on, I won't. Well, at least not explicitly.))

For this challenge, I will be standing as I always have under my colors of the maize and blue. I also stand under the banner of my tavern, "The Dragon's Lair". I shall be standing alone, with no second, the reason is simple. I feel that if I am ever unable to push forward my own challenge, I would want to see it through. I would never feel right if someboby else fought my battle for me. I do thank the few of you who voluntered to act as my second,
