"Our Duelists, who art in the Arena, Skillfull be thy weapons"
"Thy duelers come, the duels be done"
"In the Arena, as it in in the Annex"
"Give us this week, our daily wins"
"And forgive us our slashes"

A New Prayer (for the Dissing Slashers)
In the field of battle, Arena and Annex,
let every duelist's blade strike true.
As if 'twill matter, thy plinko will shatter,
I earn redemption by slashing you.

The shedding of thine blood is in thy name,
and every step preserves me peace.
Your thrust hit the floor, and again my dis scores,
it looks like ye slipped in grease.

Please forgive the 3:16ers,
for their souls are dangerously mislead.
Their parries shall fail, their bodies turn frail,
let us pray this message be read!

::Grins, tacking it up::

Simply,

::offers a simple shrug at the minds being corrupted::

If you're not goin' to use every move at your disposal, don't expect to beat many who do. Especially the two most psychologically devastatin' of 'em all.

Amusing.... but, just think about it. The Disengage is a total piece of crud. If you ever succeed with it, your opponent would be so syked out that they would be easy to defeat.
And the Slash is a respectable manuever. Cut through parries and watch them fall. Why ::penned double-thickness::SHOULDN'T::The rest written normally:: I use a move when I think my opponent is going defensive? Oh, I see, a logical move is less noble and honorable than taking a chance.... after all, my common slashing-self is totally devoid of the right to an opinion. That's OK.

The Anti-slasher and preacher of the Church of No-Slashing reads over the boards, then cries out in anguish at the massive blasphemy. He rips down the new prayer that was made to look like he did it, finding the forgery a poor copy of his own signature.

"Sacrilige! Sacrilige most foul! To the one which partook in this, the foul writing of this foul mock prayer of foul slashing, I foul you, and hereby commit you, whomever you are to the foulest land beknownst to men, women, children, and all those other little critters which runst around thing realm.

Jersey!"

Both slashes and disengages are important, honorable moves. However, this is not so by ducks.
Sometimes I'll high cut, for what seems like an easy point, only to find my opponent falling to the floor like his legs were kicked out from under him. Even worse is when he makes the effort to fall well, scoring a full point.
Anyone else have the same feelings?

An Antiducker? Quack! Quack! Dost thou dare insult those that make you look bad by going under a high attack? I only regret that there is no way to leap high enough to get over low attacks.
