Hear Ye, Hear Ye...

I, Stormi, did hereby witness the Challenge Match set forth by Warlord JakeMHeart to Baron Sartan Z, holder of the 6th Baronial Ring of DoS.
Warlord JakeMHeart dueled under the colors of a light blue center, on a field of white stars with an over~shade of green, wielding Dark Saber. Baron Carnage669, Cletus, stood as his second with the Lady Vanessa Raven as his Lady of Honor.
Baron Sartan, dueled under no colors with Roland Sal Roa standing as his second. The Baron dueled with no Lady of Honor at his side.
The match was strong and furious, the guest enthralled by the skills displayed each round of the duel. The duel went as follows:

RD 1: Sartan starts out low striking at the knees to find Jake thrusting over for the opening point! Score: 1-0 JakeMHeart in 1 round.

RD 2: Jake turns the edge of Dark Sabre to cut in low, catching the fancily ducking Sartan to widen his lead. Score: 2-0 JakeMHeart in 2 rounds.

RD 3: With an almost uncanny sixth sense, Sartan arcs high with a fancy lateral parry to deflect the high cut offered by JakeMHeart to take his first point! Score 2-1 JakeMHeart in 3 rounds.

RD 4: With back to back parries, Satan rounds a circularly low to pin the low cutting Dark Sabre to the sands to tie the score. Score: Tied 2 all in 4 rounds.

RD 5: Sartan drops to a stop hit as JakeMHeart Rounds a fancy circular parry to no avail. Score: Tied 2 all in 5 rounds.

RD 6: Jake continues the cuts, striking low only to impale himself on the thrusting blade of Sartan as he takes the lead for the first time tonight. Score: 3-2 Sartan Z in 6 rounds.

RD 7: Jake arcs Dark Sabre high in a fancy lateral parry, only to watch Sartan
fancily step aside for the advantageous position and a full point!
Score: 4-2 Sartan Z in 7 rounds.

RD 8: Jake stays in contention with the move only those daring enough and with honed skills would attempt; fancily disengaging Sartan's thrust to gain a much needed point! Score: 4-3 Sartan Z in 8 rounds.

RD 9: Jake strikes high and just above the ear...as the blood trickles down Sartan's cheek, he reaches out low and catches the Warlord at the ankles as he retains his title. Point each! Score: 5-4 Sartan Z in 9 rounds.

Let it be known that Baron Sartan Z, wearer of the 6th did defend and retain his title this 23rd day of December.
Well dueled Sartan and Jake...

Man, I should have bet on this one! Anyway, congrats on a fine defense, Sart. You deserved it.
