What I think...again

Patrons,
For the past four to five days, I have been silent about the Adonai/Eros situation. I have been giving it a considerable amount of thought. In the past I have acted quickly and sometimes irrationally, not so this time. On this matter, this is my thoughts...
To begin with, from what I know, the problem started with Billy Ray and Topaz. What Billy Ray considers a joke, other may, would, could and in this case did see such as insulting. Now, knowing this we look to another problem. Adonai had chosen to stand as loyal to Eros. In my book, when a person swears loyalty to one person, he is swearing loyalty to that person's family as well. Not only should Adonai have defended Eros's honour, but his wife's
as well. When Billy Ray decided to use Topaz as the butt of his jokes, Baron Uziel did laugh at these jests, insetad of defending Topaz's honour as he would be expected to defend Eros's. This, I feel is a moral infraction and a question of Adonai's honour as to why he chose loyalty in the first place.
Now, indeed Topaz is capable of defending herself, but, as long as there has been men and women, us men have always taken it upon ourselves to defend our spouses, whether we need to or not. I strongly feel Adonai should have at the very least asked Billy to cease his actions, which as noted before, he laughed. There's nothing wrong with a good joke, but must we use other people who frequent these halls to do so? What if it were you? Your spouse
being verbally battered and insulted. How would any of you react? Some would react the same, others, would indeed laugh along. I just ask, what if it were your lifemate?
A quick opinion on the behavior here. It is my opinion that people such as Billy Ray, or Jesse Troyan are not needed in these halls, I feel the community should frown on thier behavior instead of encouraging it. Unfortunately, few feel the same as I do. Also, from it is my understanding that there many other people present the night in question, and many of them also chose to laugh with Billy Ray. I will be catching much grief for that statement,
but such is life, I'm used to it.
Now...after much ramblingjust what can be done? Not very much, everyone is set in thier ways and getting them to change is like asking the arena itself to get up and move three feet to the right. Not gonna happen. But...*I* can do something. To start with, I again ask Adonai...stand down this challenge. You and I have been friends a long time, and you have told me it is a matter of honour. After thought, I disagree. The way I see it old friend is
this. Billy insulted your overlord's wife, you laughed, Eros found himself wondering as to you true loyalty and did the only thing he felt he could, and switched your alignment. Now, in retaliation, you are doing to him the only thing you can, use your right to challenge to get the final word. My opinion, this is not a matter of honour, but a matter of ego. I appologize Adonai, but that's what I think.
