I took this idea upon myself since Eros abandoned the idea. I guess he thought since he wasn't overlord anymore, why keep these articles going? I don't see why he should stop doing this because he lost a ranking so I am going to do it myself.

I think it is wonderful what you are doing, and you have my blessing. (Although you might have mentioned it to me first, no problem.) Insofar as your Comments, I ceased to write
"The Druid" for a couple of reasons. I used the Title of Overlord primarily for it's ability to gain an audience. Thus, I sought to better Swords by doing what you are doing now, welcoming new duelers, congratulating people on personal achievements, noting special events, such as weddings, births, etc., and encouraging people to send short autobiographies. However, my main emphasis was educating the newer duelers in the History of Swords. I sent
welcome letters, which included several magical runes ((Links to History, etiquette, location, rules, roleplay surroundings, TDL,times,etc.)) I did this in an attempt to give back to Swords what I had been given for so long in the form of entertainment. My reigh as Overlordship I used as an opportunity to improve the quality of the arena in several different ways. I also felt it was important, as I hear so many complain about the lack of respect
for History. Ironically, those very people tended to not share any of their valuable knowledge of History with those that they complained about. Most generally spended time bragging about how long they have been around. I decided to use my position as Overlord to make a difference, and to serve, rather than ruling over.
Insofar as why I chose to discontinue "The Druid" Newsletter..... When I was challenged by the current Overlord, Cristian de Oro, he gave his reason for challenging to be the betterment of Swords. Thus, when he won, I assumed that he would work diligently to serve Swords, over and above what I had to offer. Thus, I gave him my loyalty and stepped back from my efforts, so as not to "step on his toes" giving him the respect that he deserves.
I did send him a sample of the Welcome letter for new duelers with the magical link runes, and asked if he would consider continuing this. I am sure he is bettering Swords in his own way, and although his methods are apparently different than I, he does have a reputation for being quiet. Most likely he is performing his work for Swords quietly behind the scenes. I hope this clears up any confusion as to why I discontinued this. I was leaving
this to more capable hands. I stated these reasons in my last penning of "The Druid."
