To everyone:
As it comes as no surprise, considering I've spoken of this for some time, and have also thought a great deal about this. Each time I come to the same conclusion, that the time has come for me to retire as I had promised myself to do at the conclusion of my participation of the current Warlords Tournament. The time of this retirement will depend on how I feel, but regardless, it will be a minimum of Four Months Time.
So, it is without further adieu that I wish to have my Official Retirement noted on the Standings as soon as the cycle for 6/1/99 begins. To remain on the standings would generate too much temptation for me to return and take a match or two, and I don't wish that.
I would be most grateful if this request was honored.
My thanks for 1,596 official duels, for several tournaments, for uncountable good times within the 2 years, 9 months (give or take some days), and the numerous friends I have made in this fine establishment, which will certainly improve to the glory it once was.
I am, and always will be...

I just have to say one simple thing. Why the heck is everybody retiring? I don't know the people who are retiring but when one retires, many more retire. It was just a thought...
