::after a tiring night, she awoke with a start, the sun already at the peak of the day, she quickly went to the cork to make a few notes, all the while muttering about the wine that zonked her out::
Ladies and Gents of the DoS....
After an exhaustive and challengin' two nights...the skills apparent in all who entered, but the skilled finalists presevered...
The warwench Kaprielle reigned supreme in the winner's bracket, earnin' her a well deserved respite while the others dueled gruelin' bouts ta determine who would seek their blade against 'er...The one takin' the final spot against the lass...nae well known, but wi' 'onor and skill did Zafiroo wend 'is way thru the loser's bracket ta seek 'is place in the champion's ring wi' Kaprielle. After a moments debate twixt the two, they stepped in fer the duel
o' the eve...
The warwench, seekin' the chance at the o'erlord Unagi, dueled wi' the skill known to 'er. The wantin' she felt led 'er blade ta strike true and clean. The warlord, 'is intentions on the First Baron's ring, met 'er blows..The final strike fer the lady, givin' 'er the win and the option o' 'er choice.
The o'erall cahmpion o' the tourney...Lady Kaprielle, duelin' wi' the 'onor and spirit as all should wear..'as chosen the opiton o' the challenge o' the o'erlord...Zafiroo, duelin' as admirable as the lass, did so chose the right ta wear the Ring. After a moments debate, the new Baron did speak 'is intentions ta remain neutral till 'e sought out the o'erlord and sought answers ta a few questions as ta where the o'erlord stands, quotin' that 'e dinna
know 'im well nuff ta pledge loyalty..yet... or ta neither pledge renegade. Luck ta ya both in yer endeavers....

Well fought you two. I enjoyed the whole tournament...
Zaf,
We had a good, close match together, and I hope we get to do it again soon. Wear the ring well.

A man draped in a hooded coat flipped from one missive to the next with his right index, middle finger, and thumb. Coming to the shorter and fresher of the two, the man's eyelids tugged at each other beneath the dome of his light-rejecting shades. Indeed you did, Cletus...
Zafiroo. The one who handed him his first loss. In an attempt to picture this person from the night prior, the only vision he could manage was that of an enormous blotch--a segment of space impregnable by matter or light, or perhaps an vortex in time--out from which a blur of an arm and sword would strike, or protect. This was not Deluthan's first encounter with the breed, not by far, but Zafiroo was perhaps its premier baron.
With a twitch back to Cletus's, his thoughts found their zenith. Perhaps achieving a baronial ring has its purpose...

Friends,
Thanks to those of you who stood by me in the tournament and cheered me on wholeheartedly. It was a glorious night for me and I'm thankful friends were there to witness it.
To the Officials of the tournament, my sincere thanks for your time, efforts and patience. Your skills do not go unappreciated.
Thank you to my opponents for not exploiting all of my weaknesses.
Regards,
Kaprielle d'Argent
