Alyxz was not worthy to start a team, or lead a house, and he knew it. He was far too whimsical to hold such responsibility, but it seemed it needed to be done. A house was needed to pick up the extras so to speak.

There were other houses, such as Questrion, DragoonTalendor, Lathodoscia (or whatever that name was, he couldn't seem to ever recall it properly); but these were not exactly beating down his door.

A one time warlord, losing the tittle after only a week, then remaining a GM for god knows how long now, Alyxz was not exactly contending for mightiest duelist in the land.

Still, he was honorable, and would continue to be so. So he set his resolve. He would form the house, for those who were not sought by the other, grander houses. A house not of mighty champions of old but of duelists. Pure and simple. He would welcome those, even of lesser skill, to fight on their side, for he did not seek to dominate. He sought only to join in, to participate, and for once, to belong. It seemed now that there might be others who felt the same. He would give them a place.

The passed over. The ones who had not been invited to the grander houses. The Pariah, like himself, who would fight, honorably, even as the best of them may lose. He knew that if they, in their hearts, held to the true spirit of DoS, then in a sense, they would always be victorious.

Not for points, not for wins, not for glory. For honor, and above all:
Cause they felt like it.

With a wry smile at his own fool heartiness, Alyxz posted:

"To any and all who are left out of those categories, filled by the members of various teams and houses,

I hereby announce the beginning of the house Taliesen. One member. I seek those who would join and bring honor and pleasure (if not victory) from the opening of the DoS team dueling.

In this endeavor, I would appreciate help from those of the current, grander houses, who may offer advice, and I would welcome any who would join in this cause, such as it is.

Also, it should be noted that I, have not the history, standing, skill, nor experience to lead a house (in my opinion) and therefore, will entertain notions of a different, more worthy team captain than myself, should any see fit to apply.

Ps: As a house, we have as of yet, not acquired a house (place of residence) so please bear with us (me) until such time (if ever) as one may be procured.

Lathadoscia, you had it almost right except you put an "o" where an "a" goes. Better then most do, and not nearly as lengthy or tongue twisting as Gnort's name..::grins with a wink to Gnort::
