The Death of Martafan Faxfallen

My friends and fellow Patrons of the DoS:
To you I am known as Martafan Faxfallen. I tell you now that it is not true. My true and rightful name is Daryl Kyle. I was once King of Norminglade, a kingdom to the north of the great country of Rhydin. I am sorry to say that my kingdom was destroyed nearly two years ago. I fled that country and came here. During the Flight of Norminglade, my wife and son were killed by ambushers. Though I grieved terribly for the loss I sustained that
night, I couldn't let the name of Kyle be heard due to fear from the same assassins that murdered my family. Hence, the name of Martafan Faxfallen was created for my own protection. For two years, I have dueled in the arena and found it the greatest place to be. I thank you for your support over the last few years. This brings me to the point that I make. Martafan Faxfallen will not duel in the rings again. Let his name be stricken from the
records and let Daryl Kyle begin his time again. Also, I am travelling to Norminglade come Teusday, and will not be in the arena for two or three weeks. Good day and happy dueling, my friends.
