To Those It May Concern,
My peer wins having been declared valid, I now make public my challenge to Lupton Est Dracoern, holder of the 6th ring. The reason for my challenge is fairly simple. Personal animus. I do not like Lupton, I don't like the fact that he is wearing a ring, and I shall do my utmost to take it from him. I feel fairly confident in my ability to defeat him, and I have placed myself in the queue for the simple reason that should someone else defeat Lupton
first then I shall have no need to challenge this cycle anyway.
When I was a Master at Arms, Lupton informed me that should I ever gain title that he would do his best to take it from me. I see no reason why such a statement should not work both ways. Likewise, should I prove victorious, I will expect the promise to be kept.

To be totally honest, if I do not have to duel that is just as well as if I do, for it will mean my goal has been accomplished. While, yes I would like to eventually wear a ring, it had not been my plan to challenge this cycle. My challenge was issued only because Lupton is a Baron. Should Lupton not be a Baron after the first duel, excellent. Should he still wear a ring, I will do my best to take it from him. Either way, I will be quite satisfied.
