A watery reprieve

The Warlord Prince had gone down with the ship. The Typhoon had hit in the early eve. By all appearances, he had appeared dead. But dueling without Fancies had toughened him. He had held his breath unfancily for 30 minutes. Finally, the ship had rested upon a natural mountain ridge far beneath the surface. His body struggling for air, he found an ancient cave, and swam upward with his last ounce of
breath.

He had passed out. When he awakened, he found himself upon the soil of Rhydin. Quite some time had passed. The Gods had not only saved him, but somehow had used him for their purposes for a long time. Of this time he had no recollection.

He set to work on a camp, using his wilderness training, preparing for his quest for answers......
