Missive for Lord Dragonblade

M'Lord Dragonblade,

I have oft seen this challenge in the works through the standings board, and at first I was unsure of the reasoning behind it. As the days passed and more thought was poured into this subject, the greater respect I came to have for you. It truely takes an honorable man to admit when he is in a position he might not deserve. I say woe to your defeat, but hail your honor as a warrior and a gentleman.

I, Sir, tip my sword to you.

Durax,

Indeed, Daelin Dragonsblade was a fine example of how an honorable warrior and title holder of this sport should conduct themselves in such situations. Many a dueler both old and new could learn from his example. I am sure he shall grace us again with being a title holder in the future and continue his legacy.

Well said Elijah, as well as Durax. Daelin, this showmanship, and respect for the sport greatly increases the respect I hold for you. Even in your defeat you did not pout or cry as some often do. Instead you spoke that you would stand again and perhaps take back what was rightfully yours.

With respect,
Gunthar

I'd like to thank everyone for their kind words, both here on the cork and face to face in the Arena last night. Your words have been a welcome to me and my spirit and have made my failing seem a bit easier to bear. I wish everyone luck in their future endaevors and once again offer thanks for your words they have been a bigger blessing to me than you all may know.

Reading of the Lady Starfare's latest complaint against the officials, Drake can only shake her head. "First, she complains when things are allowed to drag out... now she complains when things are helped along. Stormi's right, I should've been down there myself." Nodding to the fellow nearby, she continues. "At least Turi was around to take matters in hand and see to it that it didn't become
another three week debate for the Baron's Council before they made a dicision that would take another three weeks to implement. Heck, the majority were there, why the heck not ask them to come up with another solution if not another champion."
Shaking her head in disgust, she turns away from the board. "How can anyone consider themselves part of the solution if they never say how things should be done? Instead, all they ever do is complain about how things are done. I swear, for every fifty people who are happy with how things are, there's someone screaming at the top of their lungs about how terrible things are."
Nodding to the few patrons about at such a late hour, she heads down to the Annex to check her undoubtedly overstuffed mail box.
