The day had been a good one for the elite bandit. The mysterious rogue had accomplished looting a jewelry store and a corner house within a few hourse; perhaps he can steal a drink and a few coin purses before the night's end, and the ideal place for this was the basement he had visited many night's before. The stone cold eyed hooligan slipped his way downstairs like an eerie breeze, making headlong for the bar. After
several minutes of careful observation of his surroundings, his eyes were caught by several stray objects on the bar-top: a tip tray and a few odd crystal shot-glasses. Without a word, he stole a glance toward the patrons, and swiped the objects. Before he could turn around, a leather vested man had seized his arm. Without hesitation, he spinned to his back, producing a coil of piano wire. He pinned that man's life-line down, strangling the life out
of him. The knight, a fighter, reversed the move, slicing the twine with a short stroke of his readied blade. With this, the battle began, ranging from bar-top to grappling upon the floor. Three times the thief left a weapon embedded in the sides of the knight, but still the knight pressed on, striking thrust after thrust. Nearing the end of his strength, the wiley thief was disarmed, left with his bare skill. Reacting to a charge, and realizing the
battle was nearly lost, he tossed a stool at the knight's legs, tripping him up as he delivered a stunning roundhouse to the neck area. Ceasing the opportunity, the bandit ran for the exit; but his getaway was promptly cut short, a concerned patron blocking his path with a bit of furniture, the grey-eyed man being brought down.
When he awoke, he was in a daze; he peered around-next to him was the knight that aprehended him, his weaponry, his canvas sack of stolen goods, and on the knight, his pouch full of change. Ceasing another chance, he plucked the money pouch from his belt, and scurried off, succeeding in the night's looting.
