Overlord, Barons, Officials, Patrons,
This missive is to announce that I do hereby challenge our Overlord, Gunther O'dwyer, for the position of Overlord. My reasoning is that I do not like this man. For one, he accused me of lacking honor when we had never met for a reason I shall not go into. If you do wish to know, contact me. Another is that he defeated Zen Rising for this crown, and Zen is a good friend of mine, and I did not like seeing him fall from the position. A third
reason is that we differ in the politics of this sport. I challenge so swiftly only because the grace period before the Warlord tournament is soon to begin.

Fer clarification...yes today is the start o' the 24 day grace period but...it officially begins at 9:00pm est. The challenge is wi'in the set time frame.

I am not pleased to see neither of you, Gunthar or Magnus, getting close to the Crown.
Gunthar himself hasn't even earned a ring nor anything of higher desires, in which, I dislike him even trying for the Crown. I never felt his need for challenging Zen since Gunthar is indeed, a man of honor. I've caught his capability within the duels where he has finely honed skills. I am most impressed with the swift touch of his blade, but not very cheery upon his decisions. No offense Gunthar, my friend, but I wish Magnus the advantage of the
win.
Magnus, I feel you would be more capable of holding the rank, but I'd have to say that I can't foresee you as an Overlord. I like you very much, I just don't find you ready for the title at the moment, nor Gunthar. I do, indeed, find you a more capable duelist with more ability and more desire to grace the halls with respect and courtesy. Even though I don't see you as such a grand Overlord, I'd rather you over Gunthar. May fate guide you to a
win.

Well, Drey. Gunthar could have decided himself that he is just going to outright select a Champion and test him.
It is the Overlords Right to decide whether or not to -Offer- the Best of Three.
It is the Defenders -Right- to refuse such offer.
So, With Gunthar deciding to give the Best of Three, he is well within that right.
We'll just see what Magnus says, won't we.

Bring him down Magnus. I personally feel that you in your prime shouldn't go for a title like this which has been called "the end of the road" since you still have a good part of life to duel. But a lot of things bother me..and you seem a more likely, or worthy person than any to gain the title..so bring him down, I'll be in your corner.
