Results o' the Second Ring's Match

Lords, Ladies and Denziens o' the Realm....

Let it be known that this day, the 31st o' the 8th month did I bear witness and oficiate the match betwixt the council's champion fer the Second Ring and the Warlord that sought ta bear it...Warlord Deluthan Ev'rt did press challenge unto the Ring itself as did the Champion named AJaybird.."Warbird" to many...set 'is blade ta defend it..Once the ceremonies commenced, the duel went as follows....

Challenge 1....
True ta form the two start out...
The warlord jams out an openin' thrust...AJ showin' 'is style, parries high..((lp)) ta take the advantage and the first score on the board
.5-0 AJ in 1

Challenge 2....
Aj doesna slip away from the start ta far....a fancy circ parry in time ta defend against the incomin' lo cut that Del let 'is blade follow thru...takin' a full point this round
1.5-0 AJ in 2

Challenge 3...
Del lashes in again, a forceful thrust attemptin' ta impale AJ...alas..AJ triples the parries and steps into a finely timed and e'en fancy lateral ta turn the warlords blade aside
2.5-0 AJ in 3

Challenge 4.....
Once again the warlord turns 'is blade lo, cuttin' at the shins o' AJ and cant beleive the ex-baron strikes wi' a well placed thrust...increasin' the score e'en more
3.5-0 AJ in 4

Challenge 5....
Del follows thru wi' the lo cut, goin' hi cuttin' and nailin' AJ's shoulder...but nae afore AJ's lo cut strikes out fer a place also...both score in this lc/hc combo...
4.5-1 AJ in 5

Challenge 6....
Seems both men decide ta back away and regroup.... AJ parries a flutterin' circular parry as Del steps away ta fan the air wi' a fancy lateral
Neither score...the duel continues

Challenge 7...
Seems once again they dare away from the other...Del duckin' wi' the fancy quickness as AJ merely steps round ta watch from the side...((fdk/ss))
Neither score this round
Still 4.5-1 AJ in 7

Challenge 8...
True colors are shown this round.... AJ shows what right 'e 'ad ta wear the ring fer
those two years...snappin' out a quick lo cut ta take the sting from the slash that Del set afore 'im...makin' the strike and the winnin' point fer the match

Final o' the Challenge: AJaybird def. Deluthan, 5.5-1 in 8 rounds

Be it noted in the annals o' 'istory that each dueler didst duel wi' the 'onor and fortitude befittin' the title o' warlord that 'as come ta be dredged so these times and days. Ajays successful defense o' the second ring does place it ta be 'eld fer a prize in the upcomin' Warlord's Tournament makin' the total o' prizes ta be offered come now ta 5 rings plus the shot at the O'erlord's crown.

Well won once again Warbird. I only wish that this will fortify you to return to the rings and maybe even reclaim the 2nd as your title.
