Ladies and Gentlemen,
It was late in the evening when I had just finished up dueling against Davestro representing Dragon Lair's Deadbeat. Well, so happened also, Myst who had called our match went into labor. Cassius, Lyon, Melgarth, and I helped to deliver a boy, 22 inches long, weighing 10 pounds and 8 ounces.
She named it Marzan Dalamar. Congratulations to ye Myst...but I hope me heart never has to beat as fast as it did again like it did that evening. ::smiles to herself as she remembers the evening::

How unfortunate.

But congratulations on the birth. I hope it's healthy and can overcome it's handicap of its name.

Mystik,
As you can guess, I am so happy for you. I'm glad things went as well as can be expected. Marzan will do very well under your care.

Now taking bets on the exact number of weeks until the child's first duel.
Top sources say seven, while I'd try to be nice, and say ten.

What is even more unfortunate is where the child was born.
I'll say no more.

Tacks a note to the cork.
Tis e'en more pitiful, nae e'en an insult ta th' 'onored name 'o Dalamar fer th' whinin', whimperin', snivelin', wench ta dare ta usurp th' proud name fer 'er bairn. T'was only one Dalamar, bu' such ast Mystik hae nae ta sense ta gods grant a gnat ta realize ta insult she be offerin'.
Wi' th' wretched snivelin', whimperin', whinin' lass ast a mother, mine prayers go ta th' bairn. Ta wee laddie ist certes in need 'o all ta well wishin' 'e canst git.

::nods a bit as she reads Jonalyn's missive, understanding the woman's feelings about Dal's name (having the same feelings herself), even if Sidartha herself didn't know the reasons as to why the woman hated Mystik so::
::she pens a note in reply, intentionally wording it gently for the first time in quite a while::
Jonalyn~
Maybe we should look at it not that Mystik should live up to Dalamar's legacy, but the child given his namesake. Time will tell how well the name is lived up to, if we look at it that way, aye?

Someone please explain to me why Eros's child has to live up to Dalamar's legacy, because of a shared name.
