In the still of the early morning hours, a lone torch flickered weakly as the last of its fuel wasted away. Scattered about the cavern lay the usual items forgotten or discarded in the course of the evening. A wet towel mildewed on the bar, a bloody, slashed tunic draped across a chair, the tip of a broken blade on the floor near the rings. Rats scurry through the room,
squeaks sounding now and again as they pilfered forgotten trinkets or feasted on stale remnants on abandoned plates and unwashed mugs.

A glittering light in the shape of a piece of parchment accompanied by light melodious tones appears on the corkboard. Rats squawk and disappear into their holes to poke their noses out hesitantly as the light is reflected in their small black eyes. Soon the light fades, blue, red and green sparks dance in circular patterns then is gone. On the parchment, Murelle's scrolling hand read as follows..

Llewyss GreyMantle and Murelle Silverfox GreyMantle are pleased to announce the birth of Gweneleth Patrice. She made her arrival in the usual way the 29th of June at 10 am.

Please rejoice with Llewyss and I as we are blessed with a child so much longed for..

Murelle GreyMantle

She slipped through the halls and looked over the notices. One caught her eye, the announcement of a birth. A smile came to Collie's face as she read. She lifted her her pen and posted a note of congratulations.

~Murelle and Llewyss,

Congratulations on the birth of your daughter and thank you for giving me the honor of guiding her into this life.

Colleen Lasher~

A smile graced the pale features as she recalled the joy on the faces of the new parents as they gazed on the small face for the first time.

As she perused the parchment, a soft smile tilted her mouth. She penned a note, then tacked it to the cork.

Murelle and Llewyss,

On behalf of both mineself and mine husband, may we offer thee our congratulations upon the birth of thine wee bonnie lass. We rejoice indeed, for such a bright blessing ast a daughter canst but bring unto both of thee boundless joy.
