Friends and foes,

I have returned to sport which I remember with so much affection. Not because of any great nostalgia for the Arena itself, or for that matter for what remains of the community (though I do have friends here that I am glad to be among again). Rather, I have returned out of love of the sport itself. While I strongly doubt that I shall ever again be an official of this sport, I never the less wish to contribute to it. It is my intent to do so with the
highest standards of sportsmanship and gentlemanly behaviour. I shall endeavour, as I did when I first began what would become the most notable episode of my career in the rings, to refrain from personal insult on the boards and to answer words with deeds. You will also be correct to assume that I will once again make my opinions known quite freely upon these boards. I will also resume my involvement in the politics of the rings, making my support or
opposition quite clear. It is my eventual goal to reestablish some form of the now defunct House Rising, though for bovious reasons that name would no longer be suitable.
I have not requested reinstatement as a Warlord at this time. If I do so, it will be when I feel that I have once again returned to proper dueling form to deserve such an accolade. If and when this happens, I shall again seek title within the rings. However, again, this shall not happen before I am satisfied with my dueling form.
