DoS Boycott

My comrades,

I call upon the Overlord, the Baron's Council, and all duelers to boycott the Duel of Swords, by not dueling at all. I call upon this boycott in response to the "commission of officials" saying that it is proper for a Warlord to be able to challenge for Baron more than once in a cycle. It is obvious that Stormi is a complete idiot, and that Nych and Fish not stopping her from making a grevious mistake are circumspect themselves. Warlord
Strallen not only should not be allowed to press a baronial challenge again this cycle, but should as well have his peer wins stripped from him and not be allowed to challenge until after the end of the next cycle. This is a blatant gross violation of the traditions and prescedents set by the history of the sport and I shall not stand for it at all. I ask all duelers to not step foot into the Arena till such time as Stormi rescinds her decision to
allow Strallen to press forward with the challenge, and punishes Strallen for obviously trying to violate the ways of this sport. I am apalled and disgusted and I think Stormi should be stripped of her responsiblities to maintaining the official lists. I ask the Baron's Council and Overlord to immediately convene and deny Strallen's challenge and stand in for the honor of our sport.

Stromi has done a lot of stupid idiot things as a caller and an official of this sport, but this by far is the most ignorant thing she has ever done as an official of this sport and quite frankly should be fired, I wish she would quit even in shame. I ask the community again to boycott the Arena, but not dueling till such time as Strallen's challenge is refused, and he is punished for this blantant disregard for the sport. Thank you.

He stands there, drumming his middle finger against the post of Nych..a smile growing wider at every downbeat of the Sixth ring against the wall. His left hand comes up and deftly rips the bottom part of Nych's post off the wall to write his own.

Oh yeah Nych,
You're not even in Charlie's league.
She's more of the type to fall for creative writers or something like that. You can't spell your own name. Trust me when I tell you this, you don't want to get involved like that. It'll be a whole lot of talk amounting to nothing. By the By, did you get the other Ring that I beat out of that guy Evan? He sent it to your house in a rather unconventional method....at least that's what he said.

Elijah,

Perhaps you should step back and take a breather. The Warlord examined the current rules of challenge and determined, quite correctly according to what is posted now, that his challenge was valid.

Traditions? Since when has that made any difference when it came to the letter of the law?

The oversight was on the part of the scribe who wrote the revisions, and that of the officials that did not proofread thoroughly enough.

Do I think the challenge should be allowed? No, most definitely not.

Do I think that the Warlord should be punished? No, I do not ever condone punishment for someone that has followed the rules that are posted for public view. Should every new warlord go to an archive to search through old, and defunct versions of the Universal Terms of Challenge?

Be reasonable. Fix the error in the rules, hand back the Warlords peer wins and wish him well or ill for his challenge next cycle.

Elijah,

I used to think that I was the only one marchin to their own drummer. But yer got a bloody big orchestra leading yer into the weeds. Keep it up and they might start saying were related which would stand ill with me.

I apologize. I did not realize someone screwed up the writing of the current version of the rules. Indeed, something should be done about this. However, considering Strallen claims to be old school he should know the rules, prescedents, and traditions, and to even think he could challenge again in
the same cycle, still disturbs me as to his character.

Strallen's no more Old School than I am.

Granted, I'm more old school than he is by far. But he's not old school either.

And I still corrected the rule. :)

Nych and Ramsus,

Neither of you would know what to do with me if you got your greasy little hands on me.

Stick with the Ariadnes and the Stormis of the world.

Errr..... Just to clarify one point... When did I ever claim to be "old school"? After all, didn't our original problems, Elijah, begin because I was following new school methods and not the old school ones you so favor?

"You been peekin at my in-box again Mac Kenzie?"

Don't be daft, Nycholas.

I have shady and ruthless employees who do that for me.
