Challenge for the First Results

Once again, the ritual was done and I did bear witness to a fine duel between the Baron of the First, Daelin Dragonsblade and his challenger, The Force from the North, Kaene the Black.
The Baron was seconded by his Good ole boy buddy,Overlord, Cletus, (where are the hamhocks?) Ganderfald and his Lady of Honor was, Mygaera Pacer.

The Challenger, Kaene the Black was was without second, and Elle ( whats that on my shoe?) McBride was his Lady of Honor.

The first match was a ten round bout which was close and even had the challenger ahead for one round. In the end however, Daelin defeated him 5-3 in 10 rounds.
the second match had the Baron ahead in the beginning and never dropping behind.The final score was 5-3 in 9 rounds.
The Baron did defend his title in a best of three format and needed but two duels in which to accomplish the task.

And, once again, the good Kaene has taught us that all important lesson: these folks who shoot off their mouth like Billy Ray before a challenge end up, two out of three times, dueling more like Jonalyn.
