Challenge for the Fifth

Baron Drey Starke,

I hereby issue challenge for the 5th Baronial Ring you currently hold. I have no particular axe to grind with you other than the general feeling that everyone should be challenged periodically for the right to keep a Baron's ring.

Peer wins have been provided to the officials for verification.

Sincerely,

Sgt. Sneggle

Nae offence Sargent...

But ifin ye think Barons should be challenged from time tae time, why did ye nae challenge Baron Favre... who has nae been challenged since he took up th' Eleventh Ring?

Hey, Karen, here's an idea for you. If you don't like the fact nobody's challenged me, why don't you retire your ring and do it?

Or better yet, why didn't you challenge me when you did challenge?

This vendetta of yours against me is downright obnoxious and silly. Either do something about it, or just shut up.

Karen,

In all honesty I never even thought about Baron Favre as someone to challenge. I have no idea why not.

A note on challengin' from my PoV:

Challengin' someone for the sole reason that they haven't been challenged is fine and dandy if it's yer own idea. But pointin' prospective challengers towards these people
is a little underhanded ::Snickers as he writes this::

Noone needs a reason to challenge, but the challenge itself is always better when ya' got a reason that means somethin' to ya'.

Nuthin' more excitin' than buttin' heads with someone ya' really wanna smack down.

Baron Farve.

It be quite simple, really.
I challenged Baroness Morgan 'cause she'd held th' Twelfth without challenge fer quite a bit longer than ye've held th' Sixth without challenge.
I won't retire this Ring because I feel a Ring should be defended.
Rest assured thet ifin someone does beat me fer this Ring an' ye've nae been challenged yet... I's'll come after ye.
Heck, I might come after ye e'en if ye've been challenged between now an' then.
