::steps up::Ok listen to me ye duelers, what e'er your rank may be.Time enough has come to put thanks where thanks is due. I dinna seek to preen myself but the three highest, hardest working and I do think the most under thanked people involved in the sprot of DuelingHelix Girvin- Nay just me wife, she handles it all. As co-ordinator, I can tell ye the countless hours she puts into making sure things are worked out as best they can. Aye, there are holes here and there and caller do, on occasion, find that they canna make it to call. She canna fill them all herself, though she has tried on several occasions. If ye think her job isna a stressful, then take her mail just for a day. Hip, hip...Goldendust Evermeadow- I have had the pleasure of being a leader to this particular individual. Golden is one of the most conscientious and giving persons I have ever seen. He is a credit to all in DoS and though he may not hold the highest dueling rank, even the Overlord oweshim a great debt of gratitude for the hours of countless workwhich he does each week in handling the hundreds of duels that are called in a week and putting them into the standings in a timely manner. Tis nay a task for an average human being. Not to mention that he has to calm those of us who get hostile when that rank changing duel is missing, before he persues the matter to the caller that may have failed to hand in his reports. HurrahKalamere Ar'Din- The former co-ordinator of the sport, Kal still scarifices his time for such projects as the Warlord rankings and the history center (though that might be better suited for Xeno :D ). Kalamere acts as a sounding board for myself on occasion and I know that he has helped Helix countless times where others could not. Tis just a wee little speech, but the callers need a support team to do what we do. With out the countless hours that these three give, we would be short many more callers. It is people like these that work where people canna see that make it look easy thursday thru sunday in the dueling Arena's. Ye may nay always agree with their ideas but ye most respect the ammount of time spent by these shining examples of what is best in the Duel of Swords.Let them know personally if ye appreciate the work they do.They deserve so much more than our thanks. @------->------->--------

Girvy,You couldn't be any more correct, I whole heartedly agree. Helix works so hard to keep things running, coordinates the efforts of many and receives the thanks of few. Helix, you've been amazing and please accept my thanks for your efforts, you've always made DoS shine.Golden is as you've said a wonderful person with a great attitude. He's always responded promptly to any concerns, questions or rants and he's even been very nice about it. :)Actually, I do believe that all members of the RDI Staff are as always in need of recognition for the amazing job well done. The staff may be ever changing but the passion is and always has been ever present.Thank you all, truly.PS. The patrons have even been much better! Finally coming to protect RDI's who receive any ridicule, it's nice to see and it's about time. :)Kapri....Thanks for the reminder Girvin..

Brian, I agree with you 115% on everything you've said. The callers also need the thanks for putting up with not only us regular duelers, but the ones that don't care about anything but rank, speed and getting the duel done. The ones that are always yelling at them. I have nothing but the utmost respect for the job they do.*G*
