It had been a long two weeks and she had been relieved to make it back to the port of Rhydin(for in fact, that matter had been in doubt several times.). She was to complete her team duel and head out again in the evening, but fate wasn't always so allowing of her wishes. The moment she arrived at her home she was greeted by Thom and Lea;by the blush on Thom's face the poor boy had to have been waiting with Lea for some time for her to arrive. The fact that he remained and bore Lea's flirtations said that his words were of high import. "Business or personal first, mah Captain?", Thom snapped to an attention stance that made her wince. "Business Thom, and for bloody sake, relax.", she moved through the antichamber to the living room beyond, the fire roared and warmed the room and her chilled form. Lea and Thom trailed her and Lea blurted outher pieces of information. "Mon chere, one, you look awful you should rest. Two, the team duel may not go as smoothly as planned, the fair lady Tynsdale has been attacked, stabbed and lies in jeopardy. Three the Lord Oakenshield hasset forth a challenge for your ring. Four, Random did leave a message hedesires to speak with you, he is a handsome one,mon chere. Five the"Ravage" is docked in a port just south of here.", finally Lea stopped to draw in a breath. Ellisa stood with her back to Lea and Thom, one hand rising to rest upon the oddly cool stones besides the hearth. Holding her other hand up to indicate she wished for silence, she could hear Thom shifting as his information weighed upon him. She didn't even want to know whathe believed to be of more import than what Lea had already laid out forher(worse, she knew it probably was more important, all but one.) "One, send a letter to Luthien and her husband to see if I can be of assistance in any way. Two, find out for me if news of her assailanthas been gleaned. Three, send out Shane and Bill to find out why the Ravage has put to port so close. Four, send to Lola a request to be at hand for our duels this evening. Five, take down this letter and deliver it to Jeffrey." She waited for Lea to gather a paper and a pen, with a curt nod ofher head she sent Thom off to begin the tasks set forth already. "Warlord Jeffrey Oakenshield, it is with honor and a sense of mutualrespect that I accept your challenge for my title. You will forgive the delayin my response, as I was out of port and have just this day been made aware of your intentions." "That is good mon chere.", Lea piped in. "Just write please, Lea.", she sighed softly as she paced toward her desk, noting a pile of letters from the team dueling commisioner as wellas the other captains. Glancing at Lea, whom had adapted a ready pose again. "You will also forgive, I hope, the fact that my schedule is rather inflexible at the present time, and whereas I will try to accommodate your wishes, I fear that I will have little room to do so. It is with this in mind that I suggest that at the ninth hour past noon, by the eastern reckoning, on the 15th day of October for our match. I await your choice of officiators and I will meet you on the field of Battle." "You are good, mon chere." With a soft sigh, "Lea... please." Continueing, "My Second will beLord Seregill."Pause. "Lea, find Seregill and request that he be at the Dragon this evening so that I may speak with him."Another pause, pacing toward the stairs,"My Lord of Honor will be announced later and as always, may the dance be worth the watch." Moving over to where Lea writes, she takes the pen and places hersignature below the body of the letter; withdrawing her signet ring from it's pocket she stamps an image of a dragon upon the bottom of the parchment. "That should do it Lea.", turning toward the stairs once more, unlacing the ties of her shirt as her thoughts turned to a hot bath. "Mon chere? What about Random?", Lea called after Ellisa. "Later, Lea... later.".

::Practicing alone, late in the eve, attempting to quicken his instincts with the blade away from prying eyes such as he was unable to aboard ship, striking with a slice low aiming to take the legs out from his opponent, then moving back, then suddenly turning, spinning back from an unseen direction and striking high as he was wanton to do amid the fervor of battle aborad the prize vessel that lie under his feet::

::amidst his unseen practice of swordsplay, his focus is turned toward the one that has entered, noticing at once who it was becoming acutely distracted and obviously irritated at the interruption before he took a closer look at the figure, who was noticeably out of breath from traveling a great distance to get here for some matter of great import:

"You there!!!...who ya lookin for???" ::he asked still slightly perturbed at the disturbance of his time::

"Bill, its me you dolt an I got a message for you from Ellisa!!!"
::struggling to regain whatever breath that had escaped, waving the parchment in the air::

::Absently he sheathes his blade, quickening his pace to reach the messenger, snatching the missive from the hands, reading over the request from his Captain to find Shane and together discover what the blazes the Ravage has set to port in Rhydin::

::hurriedly writes a reply to his Captain::

Cap...rest assured I'll find out what this blasted ship an its Hellspawmed crew be doin in port though it may take me a bit to find Shane...As I'm not sure which tavern he's layed himself up in...But I shall figure out its intentions and report to you the instant I find out

Your Trusted mate
Bill

:: that done, sees to the comfort of the messenger for the night and makes plans for daybreak::
