The History Of Game:
Part I; Early Years
Game was raised by Shaoite Monks in the mountians, far from Rhydin. When he reached the age of 6, the Monks let him join in the Martial Arts classes. When he reached black belt shortly after his 10th birthday, he got to take personal lessons from Grandmaster Han, the most renouned Martial Artist in that part of the world. So, Game advanced in mental skill through his learning of the secret Youn Wha Ryu style. By his 14th birthday, he had been
told the truth about his youth...
When he was barely a month old, Game was hastily given to a journeying monk. Game's parents were involved in a bloody battle back in his home town of Baku. Months later, the very same Monk who took Game as a child learned what became of his parents. A band of roaming mauraders had swept into the town, killing and stealing everything in sight. There is no word on any survivors. The town laid in ruins and was soon forgotten.
After a year of pondering, only then did Game decide he must go out and enact revenge on his parent's murderers, perhaps even finding traces of his parents... Against the pleas of his friends, Game left the monastary... His sensai, Grandmaster Han, shook his head in regret... muttering, "Revenge is not the way..."
Part II: Duelling Don't Come Easy
A year later, on his 16th birthday, Game, wary of traveling so long, came across an inn. His financial situation was desperate, for all his savings were spent, but he went in anyway, anxious for any kind of comfort the inn could give.
He walked in and to his surprise he saw a huge main lobby with four rings in the center... Looking around, he saw that several people were fighting some kind of tournament.
Due to the fact that Game looked puzzled, a man came over and introduced himself as DR (DRegan32) and explained the tournament to Game. After several strategy conversations with AndersStof, Shanni (Shanni Ctn), and Jake (JakeThrash)... Game started duelling in the infamous Duel of Fists. After some early struggling, Game got some pointers from Percy (Percival), Strider (AragornKoG) and Goldy (Goldglo), and started to move up the ranks quickly.
He also learned rather quickly how great Jake's Orcish Ale was.. and where Jake hid it...
In no less than 6 weeks, Game had reached the rank of Emerald... and was up to compete in his first Diamond Quest (DQ). After a poor start at 0-1, Game then won the next three duels to fight in the championship duel (Against LordRannos). After winning, he became the new Diamond, something that was new to him and he didn't fully understand the responsibilities of such a rank at only 16 years of age.
The next cycle, Game was the highest rank in DoF. It really never sank into him that he was "The Diamond," and everytime he went to the Outback he had to be reminded who he was...
By the time the next DQ came up, Game was getting homesick... After all, he had been away from home almost two years now. Game entered the DQ, but just didn't feel quite himself... After a poor showing in his first two duels, Game all of a sudden started feeling deathly ill. Weird feeling, that is, to feel not yourself and then feel ill in a matter of minutes... Reluctantly, he felt he couldn't continue the DQ (Unbeknowest to him, apparently,
after he had left there was conflict among the remaining DQ fighters as to how to proceed...).
The next day Game felt aweful when he went back to the Outback. People accused him of not being honorable, not being a worthy Diamond. Game tried to defend himself, but could not seem to get many supporters. Shortly after that, Game felt he needed to go home... No more of this dueling business for Game...
Part III: Pilgrimage
Game then left Rhydin to go back to his home town. He had found no evidence of his parents nor their murderers. Back home at the monastary, he came home to a very different place than he had left. Many people had left to see the world like Game had done. As a result, the place seemed to have a dearth of people. Luckily, his Sensei, Grandmaster Han, was still there and he was joyous at Game's return.
After about two months Grandmaster Han had instructed him to go off on a pilgrimage... To a far off place, far from anywhere Game had ever been. (Where he had gone, who he had met, and what he had seen will not be discussed in this brief History... you will have to ask Game yourself).
After a year travelling to the North, Game decided to visit the far off places to the South... Interestingly enough, he came by the Outback once more, albiet at a much better physical and mental state. He asked to be reinstated at the Emerald rank. Given his old record of 17-0, he began to duel a bit more. After only a couple weeks of duelling (and with a disastrous WoL for those few weeks.. like 2-6...), Game realized that he must continue on
with his journey. So, he left again...
Part IV: Reinstatement
After nearly two years of journeying (He was almost 19 when he came back this time), and maturing both physically and mentally, Game came apon the Outback again... Luckily, he was reinstated at 10-0, and found a lot of his old dueling friends were still around... He found that his idea of the Opal rank was instated in his absence, but with many interesting additions...
So, that is the history of Game...
