Dueling Patrons:
I have officially challenged Baron Moralitor for the Seventh Ring. I have no outstanding personal motive against Moralitor, indeed, I have never met him before. This is precisely why I chose to challenge him, to ensure that this would be as much a challenge of skill and ability as possible, not a match born of the self-destructive hatred and grudge that has unraveled friendships and even taken lives.
Therefore, I challenge simply to see which dueler shall prevail as the regarded better dueler in the traditional manner. I hope for a direct and even contest of skills in this, and again I state that there is no ill will whatsoever in my intent.
Thank you all for your company in and out of the rings, I hope for more good times.

The mage was busy within his laboratory at Castle Questrion, working hard on the ward that Lord Valmion wished to have protecting the lands when a soft knock came to the door. "Come," the mage responded, turning and gathering his black and silver robes about himself as he looked to see who would enter.
The door opened and a young page entered the chamber, bowing before the Lord Wizard of Questrion. "Word has been recieved that the General's peer wins have been confirmed your grace, you have until the 17th day of this month to respond to the challenge," the young boy said, then bowing once more. The mage just inclined his head and gestured for the boy to leave, which he turned and quickly did, having heard rumors of what transpired in the mages
laboratory.
As the door closed, the mage went back to work on the ward, not giving Perrinis much of a thought at all. Though one simple thing did strike the mage as being odd, it was less than a fortnight ago that Perrinis had come to Lord Valmion for support in his aquiring some land in the north, and now he turns around and challenges a Baron of House Questrion.
