A Heartfelt Thank You!

Stifling a yawn, Trinity grinned to herself. In part for the time spent between her husband and herself following their arrival at home last night after shift, benefited by the gorgeous gift given her by Illusia. This was one birthday she wouldn't soon forget, Juxtor and the patrons of the Outback had made sure of that.

That morning just before she had left the Ranch, Trinity had sat and hand penned a note that would finally rest on the bulletin board at the Outback. Never since she had started working there as a caller had she felt as welcome, part of the team as she had last night. Not even the recognition she had received from Bane for her part in the Diamond Quest could change that, although that had been a landmark in it's own. After all, a person only had one
"first" at having the honor of calling duels for the Diamond Quest, and especially when the final winner had been one of her calls.

Pushing open the door, Trinity stepped into the quiet Outback. She wasn't use to the place being so quiet. Only the soft snoring that came from the direction of Rask's office gave indication that there was anyone but herself around. "Yup, Rask worked the late shift." She chuckled softly and made her way to the bulletin board, and tacked up her note.

To the patrons of the Outback,
I would like to personally thank each and every one of you that made last night at the Outback so special. Granted, I know my husband, Juxtor had a hand in the pie so to speak, but that you all went to the extent to make this birthday as special as it was means a great deal to me.
It is because of your efforts last night I now honestly feel that RhyDin is home. If anyone's interested in hearing about United Solandra, where Juxtor and I are from, we'll simply tell you that in comparison, there's no place like home. And as I've stated already, RhyDin is now home.
I'm proud to be a member of the team that works here at the Outback, and to call each of you friend.
Again, thank you for making last night a birthday I won't soon forget.

Smoothing the sheet of paper after tacking it in place she tiptoed in the direction of the snores. Yup, Rask it appeared had zoned out, though she wasn't positive that it was him within the office, not wanting to disturb whomever by opening the door to find out. Quietly she made her way back to the main door and stepped out into the autumn chilled RhyDin afternoon.

(To everyone, I thank you too for making it as memorable for me as it was for Trinity. It makes an old lady feel good to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of my 28th Birthday. ::winks:: Enjoy!)
