>>I knew very little about his policy.<<
Avery, do you realize you have just proven my point?
>>Now here is my question. Where do you get off call me unhonorable, and basically putting me down? Is there any honor in that? It is one thing to have your opinions but its another to throw them in my face!<<
I knew you'd say this, somehow. I didn't call you dishonorable. I asked if you felt it was honorable to do what you did. Since you say yes, you think it was honorable, fine.

Ok.. here's a little food for thought..
Dal never HAD a policy about the behavior of neutrals that was made public that I ever read until the mess over Evan. If he did will somebody kindly quote it for me?
Thanks,

Folks,
Collie is right. Pure and simple. There was nothing to research on the subject because the Neutral alignment was new and Dal had not allowed a policy. Everyone just sort of assumed that everyone felt the same way they did, on both sides of the argument. Because everyone was convinced their way was the only way that made any sense.

Adding to this,
When you swear loyalty to someone, you swear loyalty to who you see. At least, those are my feelings. Avery saw Dal as an honorable man, and swore loyalty. He changed because of opposing viewpoints regarding a certain situation. I don't think Avery swore loyalty to Dal in attempt to sneak behind him in the future. Avery spent some time deliberating with himself, and changed his stance.
Is it dishonorable? In my opinion, no, because I am under the impression that Avery was not trying to be sneaky.

Fellow Patrons of the Duels,
Again, I would like to make an informational post. When the Neutral alignment was put into effect, the Nameless Dueler immediately changed his alignment to Neutral. When this happened, I informed him and the rest of the current Barons of my policy regarding Neutrality. Also, all Neutral Barons from that point forward were informed of how I felt. So, there was in fact a known policy on the subject, although I never announced it to the community at
large. I can see how this would lead some of you to believe that there was no known policy on the matter, but in fact all Barons, particularly ones who were ever Neutral, were made aware of the situation. Thank you.
sincerely,

::sighs, getting absolutely frustrated with it all::
<m> Seems like no matter *what* opinion I give, the community will find a way to band together to vehemently and vocally have the *opposite* opinion.

Colleen,
Just to let you know....the public isn't worthy enough to know that policy, just like 80 percent of the duelers in the Arena aren't worthy to hold title. I thought you got that memo already. You've got to be an approved title holder to know anything...didn't you know that? Yeesh =)

Gentles,
T'was a simple matter to inquire of the Barons and Dalamar their thoughts and stance with regard to those Barons that declared Neutral. Neither the Barons nor Dalamar e'er withheld the information when asked.
Cordially,
Jonalyn Nenshen Starfare,
Common as they come.

Jona,
You are correct when asked they responded, but frankly, a policy that effects any duelist that is eligible to challenge for a Baronial seat or that may in future chose the rank of netural and to use the privileges there of should be publically announced so there is no question as to what they will be facing.

If you don't know something, ask. It's so simple. Yet some seem to have trouble grasping that concept . . .
