Magnus,

But did you have to express your dislike in such a way?

Magnus~

Sarcasm is not warranted in the matter of Dalamar's death. Please, think of those you hurt with your words before writing them.

Roland,

I did not mean to express it like that, and I apoligize for that. All I meant was that I would not enjoy seeing any man die, unless I truly wished it. I did not wish Dalamar to die. Yes, I disliked him, and I did not agree with him, but he was an excellent dueler and part of the community.

Sid,

I do apoligize for that, but I meant no disrespect to him.

Magnus~

Apology accepted. After some thought I figured that it wasn't intentional. Besides, I'd rather not have arguments and bickering over my beloved's death.

<sigh>
How quickly this turns from an intent to reestablish the Amethyst Ring into an all out grudge match about disrespecting the death of Dal. Or to a discussion on the ignorance of some of our duelers (If you wish to talk to me about MY ignorance, don't clog the boards, just send me a note). Are we really that determined to have a bad time?
Now, to add to the off-topicness of this post: I agree that the DoS is not just an outlet for fun. It is a sport, and for most of us, is our lives. It's politics is OUR politics. It's leaders are OUR leaders. One cannot simply dismiss an Overlord or Baron because they can only change the rules slightly. I respect their title. So, for the first time since it's quiet founding 3 years ago, one of Teyr's 3 noble Houses has decided to come out of it's
neutralness. House GrimCairn has decided to support the Overlord as long as it deems him worthy of our support. (I guess that kind of fits in with the original purpose of this thread?). I do not expect an positive reply to this message, only burning insults and analysis. So, for that reason, I wrap it up.
