Retiring has nothing to do with a personal right or ability to do anything regardless of when they return to the duels so long as the aspects of the rules are followed, such as already challenged in a cycle and so forth.
The Baron's Council made their decision based on the circumstances, and going back to retroactively change something because new circumstances have occured would be hypocritical. I don't need any questions of you Jeffery. Your not apart of this equation anymore, so keep your short stump arse out of it. You had your fun, you did your part, and have a nice day.

Greetings.
Question for the persons who appear to be claiming I made an obvious mistake.
Given that the Standings were posted at the time I read the letter from the Warlord... I saw it as a legal challenge.
While it may have been true that, at the time the Warlord sent the letter, the wins he listed were not all valid... At the time I read the letter, they technically were valid.
It's not my job to second-guess when the Standings are posted... I know they'll most likely be posted sometime tomorrow, but as far as I was concerned, I didn't receive the letter from the Warlord until I actually saw it in the pile of letters I get every day.
If anyone has any problems with how I do my job, or the fact that I have opinions that I do -not-, in any way, say should be rules... My office is just off the Annex, and my mailbox is pretty obvious.
If you are afraid to say your opinions to my face, then don't expect me to care about your opinion.
::Sits back and waits to hear from Jonalyn... at least one person comes right out and says what they feel.::

I don't think you are doing a very good job.
In the brief time you have been at your station, I have seen you validate two questionable sets of peer wins. The first being when the former Baroness Goldie did offer challenge to now Baron Eques. If my memory serves me correctly, you did validate her wins when three of the twelve were in fact not valid.
You then claimed she had sent older wins in after her initial challenge letter was sent, but when I asked to see these, you failed to show them.
Now this whole fiasco with Elijah. I only wish I had spoken sooner and maybe the match never would have occured. I only hesitated becuase I wanted to be 100% sure of what I was doing. Sometimes it helps to double check...don't you think?

Beyond that, I have no sure way of determining.... though I believe Lady Starfare might know.
Others have seen Goldie's Peer Wins... she'd been a Warlord for quite some time when she'd made that challenge, after all. I'll go digging through the old mail if you want, but if you are implying that I validated a challenge that I knew for a fact was improper... I will take offense to that, and rightfully so.
As for this "fiasco" with Ecore. The Baron had asked me to expedite the challenge as soon as I felt possible. He knew he would be leaving in a few days, and he knew that the match would either have to take place quickly, or be put off for longer than many would think proper.
The Standings were already posted when I checked my mailbox and saw the Warlord's challenge letter. I had placed copies of the Standings in Golden's, and a few other's, mailboxes the night before... Ecore was not one of those people, by the way.
Logic suggests that, if the Standings were up when I read the challenge letter... and the challenge letter wasn't in my mailbox when I placed the copies of the Standings in Golden's mailbox and went to bed for the night... that the letter was sent after the Standings were posted.
I too wish you'd spoke sooner... either to myself or to the Baron. Sometimes it's better to be safe than sorry... don't you think?
Perhaps next time I should travel back in time to the moment that the challenge letter is written, so I can check if the Standings are posted.
Unfortunately, I can't do that.

I don't see why this would matter. Someone could be a warlord for 5 years, but this someone couldn't challenge just because of that. Peer wins are still needed, and valid ones at that. So, I don't understand what that had to do with it. It sounds as if you are saying that she definately had enough peer wins, including others than the ones she sent.
Also...even if my brother does not, I would like to see this mail. Before the challenge he did tell me that 3 of the 12 peer wins sent were invalid. If I recall, he even told you about it, and he only received a reply stating you had another set of peer wins. So, I would like to see this mail.
