Since when has Agrenish been overlord? He's just a warlord right now. Says so in the standings.

Aggy is Overlord as of the moment he won the challenge match. Presecendent has shown that a new title holder has been allowed to use their rights and priviledges before their actual official posting of the Standings for public notice, except Fancys.

Actually, there is one standing precedent that would tend to deny Ecore's statement. Seamus, upon being defeated for his ring, was still considered a Renegade Baron by the officials and was allowed to champion Eros De Burgo in the Test of Worthiness. His defeat of the Overlord's champion thus allowed the grueling, amazing match that followed in which the crown finally changed hands. Comments by other officials, in the past and since, would tend to
indicate that the precedent set by Seamus was correct.

Percy,

Precedent has also shown that a newly won title won by a dueler before they were listed in the Standings as that title allowed them to use their new rights and privliedges as well, and that many officials have also found that to be correct and allowable.

Duc Percival Marchand de Clermont

Precedent be that the title dost change hands at the conclusion of the duel.

I point thee to the matter of the defeat of the then Baron Kalamere Ar'din by Damon Black. T'was if thee recall amidst the Council's deliberations with respect ta the matter of Huma Dragonbane and Dalamar ArD'aumon. Kalamere didst offer to stand aside for the new Baron. The new Baron didst decline to take the seat until the standings hae been made public. Tradition hast been that the newly titled Baron takes up the duties and responsibilities of
the title upon issuance of the public announcement in the official standings.

Tis in the matter of Laird Seamus MacDonnaugh, ast with Kalamere, tis oft been a time when two hae held the title until the official standings become public. Thee might look to the tradition in that the then newly title Baron Lupton est Dracoern wast held ta be a Baron an' nae permitted ta participate in th' recent Warlord's Tourney. The passing of the title ist by tradition held to be upon the defeat of the Overlord or Baron. The duties,
responsibilities and privileges of the title more oft be held to be assumed upon the issuance of the standings unto the public.
