With so many seemingly already having closed minds about our current Overlord, I wish to be one of the first to stop that trend.
With that, I am now announcing the Fifth ring shall stand Loyal to Agrenish Preescott.
Here's to having an open mind and giving someone a chance.

Well, I personally don't like Agrenish. I don't like the way he acts, the way he has behaved in this and past challenges, and the way he has behaved while holding title. I, personally, haven't seen any hint of real concern for either the sport or the community in either his words or his actions.
Yes, he is honest. I even respect his honesty. However, what he has been saying so honestly for some time now is simply, "I only care about myself." I might respect the honest expression of the sentiment, but I think that it leaves a lot to be desired as a philosophy.
As for his attempts to 'free a well known slave', I am skeptical. I would not be so certain of putting the best light on his actions until after I had seen them accomplished in full. I am tempted to believe that he was more motivated by a desire to possess or humiliate Jaycy than a desire to free her.
All that said, he still may make a decent Overlord. I certainly don't expect him to resort to tricky political manuevering or out and out deception and misleading of his opponents, as a title holder or two has done before. It will be interesting to see whether honesty or 'honor' is a better trait in an Overlord.
Then again, my favorite Overlord was Max. So what do I know?

I am quoting Ecore here but I am sure there are other Agrenish supporters who think this also. I wouldn't consider Agrenish the "Supreme dueler" at the moment. The WL rankings of 7-9 have him with a record of 3-6-2; a pathetic 33%. He was obviously sitting on PW's from cycle(s) before. Attitude aside, he doesn't look to be that great of a dueler and has only beating Unagi to show for his "Supreme" skill.

Some people tend to duel better when it counts. For all we know, he could be just that good, but I doubt anyone is just that good.
