Rather simple one there, I didn't want the ring the way I could have gotten it, that is what I meant.

I have been debating the matter for a while...at least 3 days... and had talked with Simi at least that far in advance of issuing challenge. It is mearly bad timing, I just found out about the sickness so I am willing to wait an extend time so that she is at her best to duel.

Runs through the posts quickly, drops two coins of the local currency on the bar and finds a piece of paper for his own note...

Just out of curiosity, does it matter why the guy wants to challenge? It's just a ring, after all. In the short two weeks I've been here, it hasn't become apperant to me that Barons are pillars of the sport, or any other sorry analogy. (nothing against the current dudes with rings)

Aspen or whoever may not be a model citizen, but last I saw, there was no rule requiring the reigning Barons to kiss the winner, or any other possibly demeaning act.

Actually, for the sake of those who aren't aware of the situation; Aspen's peers have been validated, which means that the challenge was issued at least a day or two ago, which is, to my understanding, before Simini informed us all of her illness. Heck, he's even waiting for Simini to get better for the challenge to be fought.
What I'm curious about, is if there was so much of an outcry when people challenged Errol Faline who was so ill he eventually collapsed during a challenge (unless I've misread the histories.)
I want Simini to win for many reasons. However, it seems some people are ridiculing Aspen because they don't like him, and can't just say that. Instead, they have to say, "How dare you challenge someone when they're sick?"
But here are my feelings concerning the challenge itself. Simini has made good judgements, and has earned my respect because I think she's a good person. Aspen hasn't made me feel that he'd be a good baron. He's been honest, but he hasn't had enough time to show his inner strength and morals to me.

I want Aspen to become a baron once he proves himself as a person. Now is not the time, though. With that said, good luck Simini, and get well soon.

Aspen,

I don't like you. I don't think you are a good, or even intelligent, person and I hope that Simini wipes the floor with you. That said, good luck anyway. Hopefully, the ward works for you. You will need it.

Simini,

Good luck, win in as few rounds as possible, you can do it.

You don't know me personally, just by reputation? how could you possibly make that statement and actually beleive it. The friend i have have persavered through the BS I put everyone through and learned that I'm a very nice person once you get past the veneer the i use with those that are strangers. Don't make a statement unless you know it to be a fact. Just because of some lousy choices you asumme I am stupid and
evil. This is simply not true. ::gets tired, since it is 4:40 AM in the mornin' when he is writing this, been up since 10:00 AM::

Although I do not know you Simini,...be well soon!

Aspen friend, there are those who simply refuse to look beyond what is visible. Please remind me of this should I ever refuse to see.

You whacked me when I was being annoying in the arena.
Go, Simini!
Wait a minute, Simini beat me once...
Oh, well, she didn't whack me.
Go, Simini!
