If Loyalty is simply so someone else will fight for you when you do not desire to fight for yourself, such a loyalty I would not desire. Even if that type of loyalty would be recipricated. I would rather have the loyalty of a person who can fight their own battles and expects me to face my own battles as well. Loyalty to the Overlord shouldn't be about whether or not they will help protect your title, but
that loyalty should be about friendship, honor, and respect for that individual as a skilled duelist and as a role-model leader example to other duelers.

Magnus, Percy....
First, it is possible to respect a person and call them on something you feel is wrong. Though, you can also do it in a politer manner than I did, so allow me to take this time to apologize for the comment. Now, on to business....
I respect Rix, let's clear that up now. I respect him mainly for the fact he is kind and courteous every time I see him or speak to him, and seems to do thus to everyone else.
In fact, the silver lining in the dark cloud of my gripe is the willingness to give a chance, and the nicety that underlines. But we all have faults, no one is perfect, and if someone questions the validity of Eros DeBurgo, who carries the Druidic ideals of peace, love, and harmony with nature, who strived for the betterment of Swords with his every breath while Overlord, and who successfully defended title more often than any other Overlord that was
crowned this calender year, and at the same time, believes that Agrenish would make a suitable Overlord, and Methous a suitable Baron, then sorry Percival, I am going to comment on what I percieve to be that person's ability to judge character. Thank you.
Magnus, get this memorized: Some people deserve to be tested. Not everyone automatically deserves the "right" to challenge, which I personally view more as a priveledge than a right.
Ten peer wins is not a good reason to claim someone has complete perogative to walk in and disgrace the sport.
Would you elect a brigand to the Senate, Magnus?

Cas,
I'm not sure what your question asks, as I do not elect anybody to anything. Last I remember, this isn't a government. But anyway, no, I would not.

Is there something you fail to understand about this?
