O.k....I have patience, and I know that we are allowed to criticize one another blah blah blah, but this has gone way too far.
I can understnad how Adeena may be a slight bit hurt that Gnimmy, a friend, and someone loyal to Dal, would challenge *her* of all people. Yet, that is not an excuse for her to break off her friendship with him.
Gnimmy, I don't know exactly what happned with his reign or whatever, but I know he would like to be Overgnome sooner or later, hopefully sooner. Him challenging Adeena was a way to prove to people he means to gain power. If that's a bad thing or not, I have no idea. His challenging Adeena wasn't the worst idea (not offense dear Adeena). I mean, all the renegade barons have been challenged mercilessly, and are tired out. It's about time someone
picked on a loyal.
Now this thing with Aja, she was just stating what she knew as of information, so please don't get on her case if she's gossiply-challenged. (which she isn't really)
As for me, I wish my Gnimmy the best of luck, and I hope Adeena makes him sweat to get that ring (if he gets it). You may all disagree with what I said here, and I may have not made sense, but I'm glad I spit something out. Now, how about we do the earth a favor and stop wasting paper on petty garbage arguments?

I thank you most graciously for thy note. Thy support of the brother, the Baron AJ Bird, is most commendable and is as is should be, for blood ties run deep. The Baron's successful defense of his ring, an historic achievement, among his many achievements will surely find its way into the annals of the Baron's Histories.
I shall make no attempt to speak upon the absence of Lord Dalamar ArD'aumon, but shall presume duties called him elsewhere. Perhaps, should you come upon the Baroness, Adeena Maeax, thee shall become better acquainted.
Contention, dissension, politics, oaths made and broken, friendship's gained and lost, alliances made, the rise and fall of Houses, oft are the undercurrent, that life's blood that courses through the hallowed cavern beneath the Red Dragon, the heart's blood of the duels and those who contend in the rings.

Perhaps Gnim is more interested in a friendly rivalry than in a grudge match with a renegade. Perhaps you are taking that ring too seriously, and perhaps Gnim understands better than you the necessity of renegade barons.

Having come down the stairs during the early morning hours when he's sure no one is about, he reads over the boards with an increasingly sick feeling in the pit of his stomach. He shakes head, finding this challenge and its responses to be among the worst... others are rookies and infrequents, perhaps unsure of what to do with themselves to gain respect or honor or fame... but these two...

challenge... but, folks, let's start setting some good examples here. Prioritize. Friendship comes before anything that can be seen in this Arena... I grew tired of the pettiness of the Arena and I still am. It's why I left... but, perhaps, if you all lead by example, the Duel of Swords will enter upon a new Golden Age, and the true reasons for its being will resurface.
If we can't do this... this sport truly deserves to sink into the cesspool it's teetering above.

You know I've held great respect and love for you, but your words did strike me hard. If you are now ashamed to have been a holder of the 6th, I can only say I'm truly sorry to hear such words. During your reign as baron was for me at least were some very fine times as well as standing alongside a group of select and very fine barons, to think that we've lost that respect because you do not agree with current issues is sad. You like many others
have chosen place of "semi-retired", you rarely share your views and stay away from most freys, it's a shame as I think many find your views to be most valuable.
