Brian, you're right. However, this person said to me himself/herself that he/she did it (except of course, I misunderstood this individual). Personally, I believe it would almost be as bad to say it in jest. For example, if I teased you about killing somebody you knew, and that you haven't seen in a while, I think it would be as bad as doing the crime itself (though doing it is a lot stronger than saying so, but you know what I mean).
And I'm not going to comment about what Skyler meant with what he said, because more mudslinging would fly about.

Should any of this type of subversion occur, where one member of the room is able to somehow coach a dueler in a ring and engaged in a match as to how they should proceed in their match, be the coaching through hand signals (either obvious or not), telepathy, or anything else, I highly doubt that we could ever be able to indict anyone on it. The exceptions are, of course, if either the coach or the coached confess to someone that is not afraid to
spread it around. Talking about it further just seems to make it sound like an interesting thing to look into for the unscrupulous of the arena.
If there is one thing I don't like, it is debates that continue after everyone agrees. It just really sickens me, as the continuation is merely a waste of paper/breath, and of time.

Anyone who uses such a device that allows the user to know what manuver his/her opponent will use in the next round would lose all respect. By myself, and more than likely everyone else. Except those that also have said device.

I think my original posting may have led some astray. I was referring to the use of coaching of any kind (which may include telepathy). I would think that anyone who was able to read to read their opponent's mind would be booted out of here extremely quickly if they were ever found out. Coaching,

The point I was trying to make, is that with out difinitive proof, (something you are willing to take before a court of law.) what anyone says about anyone else doing anything is rumor. Rumor destroys much more than it builds.
As a side note it is impossible to see the communication between a caller and a player, it was an example of the wild stories that are told and how with out *proof* one should be careful about how much one just accepts.
Judgment requires all the facts to be made fairly and without prejudice. Half-truths, innuendo, and rumors are never good for aught but starting a war.

I have been able to initiate telepathic contact with others outside the ring I'm dueling in... even to the point of sending telepathic messages to duelers in other rings... Again, however, I was unable to read their intentions as to the duel they were engaged in.
I have heard of certain people who can forsee the future... yet I have never met someone who truely could do this. It is entirely possible that a person possessing just such a power could become an unbeatable dueler... but I think that to be highly unlikely.
